Keep ReadingKimberly-Clark believes each person should be treated with respect and dignity and valued for their unique talents and experiences. Supported by unwavering commitment from our leaders to create long-term change, we are committed to an intentional, global strategy for inclusion and diversity. Our vision is to use our strength to combat inequities and biases and to help make lives better today and tomorrow—for our people, our consumers, and our communities around the world.
Kimberly-Clark's longstanding culture of care was a precursor to our formal inclusion, & diversity (I&D) efforts, which began in 1985 with the establishment of our first Employee Resource Group. Our focus on this critical subject deepened in 2010 with the launch of a major diversity initiative, and in 2019 we took another important step forward by beginning to re-envision our I&D strategy. Today, Kimberly Clark’s commitment to inclusion and diversity continues as we expand our internal focus on equity, aligning to our ways of working toward better care for a better world.
At every level of the organization, Kimberly-Clark provides IE&D awareness training and activities that are relevant and meaningful to our employees, and our operating regions implement extensive IE&D programs that are relevant for the local context.
Creating a sense of belonging is core to our mission of caring and brings more value to our organization as a whole. To better deliver on our mission, we are committed to building and retaining a workforce that reflects our consumer bases around the world. We remain steadfast in our commitment to cultivate a culture where all are included and empowered to do their best work and where differences are valued and essential for success.
