1.5 Million New Trees Through 2030
In celebration of Kimberly-Clark’s 150th anniversary and the 150th Arbor Day in 2022, Kimberly-Clark committed to planting 1.5 million new trees through 2030 in U.S. and Canadian forests of greatest need, together with the Arbor Day Foundation.
Throughout the partnership, Kimberly-Clark employees will be invited to participate in tree planting events at various times. These events will take place in communities where they can help mitigate the effects of climate change, create more equitable green space and provide hope and healing after disasters for those areas that have been impacted.
Kimberly-Clark is committed to protecting the environment, promoting the sustainable use of natural resources and extending our zero-waste mindset across the value chain. Our 2030 sustainability strategy and goals are aimed at addressing the social and environmental challenges of the next decade while improving the lives and well-being of one billion people in underserved communities around the world with the smallest environmental footprint.
